About Me

Hello! I am Ankita Mishra. I am a Program Manager in the Office 365 team at Microsoft. I work with a team of designers, developers, technologists to create and develop the business benefits for Office 365 Enterprise Customers. I have a dual major in MBA (Master of Business Administration) and MIS (Master of Information Systems) from the University of Arizona.

I come from a small town in India- Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. I have an undergrad in Chemical Engineering but did not work in a chemical plant (another story). Instead, I landed a job in an IT company (Infosys) where I had my first encounter with technology and I absolutely loved it. I got a full-time scholarship at the University of Arizona and came for my business and information systems major to the US in 2016.

Growing up as a woman in India I have faced a lot of unconscious biases, stereotyping, and difficulty in finding my true self. I broke down a lot of societal and cultural barriers when I chose to come and study in the United States. I believe we as women in tech and product have the power to shape the future the way we want to see it.

I have been wanting to start my blog for a long time but due to work or personal life, it kept getting delayed. But, finally, I am here bud! I am passionate about technology and a big supporter of girl child education. I believe in building a community of women and male allies in tech and life!
